Form F Assessor – East Midlands

Working on a self-employed, sessional basis, Form F Assessors are responsible for conducting detailed home studies, gathering and analysing information, and producing high-quality Form F assessment reports that support robust decision-making.

We are seeking individuals with the skills, experience, and commitment required to undertake these assessments and contribute to achieving the best possible outcomes for children and young people.

Key Tasks:

• Assess and prepare prospective foster carers
• Counsel out those applicants not suitable for the agency
• Prepare Form F reports for panel
• Present assessments to fostering panel

Rates of Pay:

• £2132.10 per completed assessment (includes supervision and panel attendance)
• £25.09 per hour for uncompleted assessments
• £46.86 Half Day Learning & Development Workshop/induction sessions (No mileage paid)
• £93.72 Full Day Learning & Development Workshop (No mileage paid)
• 45p per mile for assessment related and any Team Fostering instigated training mileage
• No travel time paid for journeys to and from training activities

Please note access to a car and the ability to drive is essential in this role. You will also be required to undertake some evening and weekend work.

Candidates are required to have access to appropriate IT equipment, including a laptop or PC and smartphone, meeting specified operating system requirements as set out in the Person Specification below.
