The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

We offer a blend of home and office-based working arrangements, to support a healthy work-life balance for all our staff. This will be a minimum of one day per week working based either at our North Tyneside or Middlesbrough office.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week covering Monday to Sunday. Permanent.

The focus of the role is to provide appropriate advice, support, and guidance to foster carers, enabling them to continue providing care, stability, and positive outcomes for the children and young people in their care.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Experience of working with children and young people
  • An understanding of the challenges that children and young people face and the barriers to success
  • An ability to relate well to children and young people and to use a variety of strategies to engage them and help overcome disaffection and low self-esteem
  • The ability to use initiative successfully within a team and when working alone
  • An understanding of safeguarding issues
  • A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn

In order to fulfil the travel requirements of the post, we can only consider applications from individuals who hold a valid driving licence and have access to a car.
