This is an exciting role managing a portfolio of key construction trade and industrial accounts including trade distributors and a range of manufacturers. You’ll be tasked with developing relationships within large already existing accounts and identifying new opportunities whilst driving sustainable growth within existing accounts.
This is a worldwide, already established brand that manufactures products that have a wide range of applications across construction, industrial and manufacturing markets. What you will need:
- This will suit someone in an Area Sales or Key Account role looking for the next career step into a national position – they will give you full training.
- Proven field sales experience working for a company in the industrial or construction sector (e.g. construction materials, trade tools, PPE, industrial consumables, or related categories).
- A strong track record of driving sales growth through strategic prospecting and relationship building.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop accounts.
- Commercially astute with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Organised, self-motivated and confident.
- Willingness to travel across the UK to meet customers and attend industry events.
- They will consider someone currently in a key account role or field sales role with key account responsibility looking to step up into a national position.
- You will need to be living in the South of Oxford, South West or South Central region.
