Overview
TEAMEnergy is seeking a Customer Account Manager to join our sales team in Milton Keynes. This hybrid role combines two days in‑office per week with three days from home, supporting a portfolio of approximately 400 business customers in the energy services sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Account portfolio management: maintain relationships and drive revenue growth across all assigned accounts.
- Structured account reviews: conduct regular performance reviews and strategy discussions with customer leaders.
- Contract renewals: secure renewals and manage service contracts to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Upsell and cross‑sell: identify and execute opportunities to expand account value within the energy services market.
- Customer onboarding & profiling: onboard new customers and develop detailed profiles to inform sales strategy.
- CRM management: maintain accurate data and generate reports in CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Dynamics).
- Reporting & communication: prepare and communicate regular account status reports to internal stakeholders.
Required Experience
- B2B sales/account management experience: 3‑5 years, preferably in energy, utilities or a related sector.
- Industry knowledge: strong understanding of energy services (e.g. energy efficiency, certification, compliance) and competitor landscape.
- Proven track record: demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding renewal rates, upsell quotas, and reducing churn.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Energy Management or related field (preferred).
- CRM & tools proficiency: experience with Salesforce, Dynamics, or similar CRM and strong computer skills (MS Office).
Working Arrangement & Environment
Hybrid: two days a week in the Milton Keynes office (typically Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and three days remote. Expect the same level of professionalism and productivity as onsite.
