Overview
Unqualified Welsh Medium Teaching role with Team Educate Ltd. Based in the Cardiff area with Welsh-medium primary schools. We welcome proactive and friendly teaching assistants to join on a full-time, part-time or zero hours contract basis.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the class teacher with work set out for the day
- Ensuring the classroom is tidy
- Delivering activities to small groups of children
- Offering support on a 1:1 basis
- Using your own initiative
- Developing literacy and numeracy skills through the medium of Welsh
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience working with children
- Exceptional communication skills
- Empathetic and nurturing characteristics
- Enhanced DBS Check – we can help process one for you
- Registered with the EWC – we can help get you registered
- 2 years’ worth of professional references
- Over 18 years old
- Fluency in the Welsh language
