Overview

Unqualified Welsh Medium Teaching role with Team Educate Ltd. Based in the Cardiff area with Welsh-medium primary schools. We welcome proactive and friendly teaching assistants to join on a full-time, part-time or zero hours contract basis.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the class teacher with work set out for the day
  • Ensuring the classroom is tidy
  • Delivering activities to small groups of children
  • Offering support on a 1:1 basis
  • Using your own initiative
  • Developing literacy and numeracy skills through the medium of Welsh

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience working with children
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Empathetic and nurturing characteristics
  • Enhanced DBS Check – we can help process one for you
  • Registered with the EWC – we can help get you registered
  • 2 years’ worth of professional references
  • Over 18 years old
  • Fluency in the Welsh language

About Team Educate

We are a forward-thinking agency with our schools’ and candidates’ best interests at heart. We have lots of positions coming to us weekly and we can help with covering letters and interview advice. We offer referrals: £75 for every Teaching Assistant referral and £150 for every Supply Teacher referral (terms and conditions apply).
