Job Description
Are you passionate about nurturing young children and supporting their early development? Do you have strong communication and organisational skills? Are you confident in creating a safe, stimulating environment where children can learn and thrive?
At Team Educate,we are working closely with a nursery setting in the Bristol area, who are looking to recruit a Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their dedicated team. You will play a vital role in supporting children aged 0-5 during their most crucial developmental stages.
There are fulltime and part-time hours available. As a nursery practitioner, you will work closely with other early years professionals to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, encourage learning through play, and ensure the wellbeing of every child in your care.
Duties of a Qualified Nursery Practitioner:
- Supporting the learning and development of children through planned and child-initiated activities
- Creating a warm, safe, and stimulating environment for children to explore and grow
- Observing and tracking childrenβs progress in line with EYFS guidelines
- Building strong relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues
- Assisting with daily routines, including feeding, toileting, and sleep schedules
- Supporting children with additional needs where necessary
Experience and Requirements:
- A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (e.g. CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)
- Level 3 Paediatric First Aid Training
- Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Experience working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential)

- Duration: Full Time or Part Time
- Pay Rate: Β£15.50-Β£16.50 an hour
- Start Date: ASAP
