- Develop and deliver flexible, engaging teaching material for undergraduate, postgraduate and professional programmes, both on‑campus and online.
- Integrate research findings into teaching and extend knowledge transfer activities.
- Ensure module design complies with university quality standards and regulations.
- Participate in assessment, marking, moderation and continuous improvement of modules.
- Take on module or programme leadership, including marketing, recruitment and development.

Essential Criteria
- Good honours degree in a relevant subject or equivalent.
- Fellowship of the Advanced HE (HEA) or willingness to work towards it.
- PhD (or submitted and awaiting examination) or equivalent professional achievement, with a strong research record aligned to the REF.
- Expertise in nuclear engineering, particularly neutronics, and experience in teaching at the higher‑education level.
- Competence in digital teaching tools and inclusive learning environments.
Experience
- Quality assurance and validation of higher‑education modules and programmes.
- Teaching delivery using a range of techniques to inspire and engage students.
- Knowledge of higher‑education apprenticeships and the ability to link academic and work‑based learning.
- Research experience in nuclear life cycle, reactor safety, power generation systems, or innovative nuclear technologies.
- Strong publishing record and experience of external research funding.
