We are a healthcare provider that specialises in personalised care for people with brain injuries. We are looking for additional Support Workers in the Barton Stacey area. If you are reliable, empathetic, patient and have good communication skills we want to hear from you.

The day shifts available are every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8am to 10pm, as well as Monday and Friday 21:50pm to 8:10am (wake night). We also have a double up on a Friday from 1pm to 5pm. We also offer bank positions for this package to suit your needs. The rate of pay ranges from £9.00 to £11.70 per hour. We also pay for your mileage (to, from and during shift), as well as any personal protection equipment you may need.

We offer all our support workers a free enhanced DBS check, 25 days of paid annual holiday, and a pension scheme. You will have 24/7 contact with the office staff including managers and coordinators through our On-Call system, as well as regular supervisions and appraisals. We are a very receptive team with an open-door policy, and our aim is to ensure that you feel safe and happy doing your job. We will also provide you with extensive paid training, accredited Care Certificate, as well as specialist nurse led approach for clinical needs. Successful candidates will be eligible for a £250.00 joining bonus (terms and conditions apply).

You will be working as part of the team that supports a gentleman in his 30s who lives with his family in the area of Barton Stacey. It will be part of your job to provide him with assistance with his personal care as well as everyday support. He uses a wheelchair but is prone to falls, so you will need to ensure that he is safe in the community. Our client is a big football fan: he supports Manchester United and likes to follow the league matches on the TV.

The right candidate must be adaptable and proactive to encourage this gentleman to carry out his daily activities and continue his rehabilitation. Due to mobility restrictions, successful candidates must be able to drive.

Based in Southampton, we have been working with people living with acquired brain injury since 2007. Our company has grown considerably since then and we are proud to have a workforce of over 150 support workers providing care across the south of England and all the way to the south of Wales.
