We are a health provider that specialises in personalised care for people that have sustained a brain injury. We are looking for Support Workers in the Ludgershall area. If you are reliable, empathetic, patient and have good communication skills we want to hear from you.
We support this client 24/7 and have regular shifts on a Wednesday as well as Bank positions to suit your availability. The shifts start at 8am for 24 hours, including a sleep night. The rate of pay ranges from £9.00 to £11.70 per hour. We also pay for your mileage (to, from and during shift).
We offer all our support workers a free enhanced DBS check, 25 days of paid annual holiday, and a pension scheme. You will have 24/7 contact with the office staff including managers and coordinators through our On-Call system, as well as regular supervisions and appraisals. We are a very receptive team with an open-door policy, and our aim is to ensure that you feel safe and happy doing your job. We will also provide you with extensive paid training, accredited Care Certificate, as well as specialist nurse led approach for clinical needs.
About the Client: You will be working as part of the team that supports a lady who lives alone in the area of Ludgershall. Due to her mobility restrictions you will be helping her with all aspects of personal care. She also requires support organising her time, cooking and engaging in her therapies and social activities. She has a good sense of humour and is keen to gain greater independence.
The right candidate must be passionate, adaptable and perceptive to work closely with this lady and help her maintain her independence at home. Due to her mobility restrictions, successful candidates must be able to drive.
