We are a healthcare provider that specialises in personalised care for people with brain injuries. We are looking for additional 24h Support Workers in the Four Marks (Alton) area. If you are reliable, empathetic, patient and have good communication skills we want to hear from you.
We have shifts available on the following pattern: Wednesday and Friday one week, and Saturday the following. These are 24h shifts with a sleep night. The rate of pay ranges from £9.37 to £10.38 per hour. We also pay for your mileage (to, from and during shift), as well as any personal protection equipment you may need.
We offer all our support workers a free enhanced DBS check, 25 days of paid annual holiday, and a pension scheme. You will have 24/7 contact with the office staff including managers and coordinators through our On-Call system, as well as regular supervisions and appraisals. We are a very receptive team with an open-door policy, and our aim is to ensure that you feel safe and happy doing your job. We will also provide you with extensive paid training, accredited Care Certificate, as well as specialist nurse led approach for clinical needs.
We are also offering a £250.00 joining bonus for any successful applicants (terms and conditions apply).
About the Client: You will be working as part of the team that supports a gentleman who lives on his own with our support in the area of Four Marks (Alton). He is a wheelchair user, and although he is mostly self-sufficient, you may be required to help out with aspects of his personal care. He is a very talkative person who loves watching movies and socialising. Your role will be to help him engage with his daily activities and keeping him safe whilst out in the community. The right candidate must be passionate and outgoing to help this gentleman continue his daily routines and reconnect with the community. Due to his mobility restrictions, successful candidates must be able to drive.
