The Trainee BMS Engineer position involves being based on construction sites or working in live company facilities for their clients, so flexibility is key. We are looking for people who can hit the ground running or show the potential and interest to grow into either a BMS Service or Commissioning role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop expertise in either BMS Development or Commissioning & PPM
- Support with design, programming, and deployment of control systems
- Test, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and BMS systems
- Diagnose issues and deliver high-quality, reliable solutions
- Coordinate commissioning activities to meet design specs
- Maintain accurate QA and handover documentation
- Engage professionally with clients and stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement of data centre technologies
Skills & Experience:
- Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- Electrical or mechanical engineers welcome to apply
- At least 2 years' industry or similar experience
- Strong understanding of mission-critical systems
- Confident with system testing, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, and BMS
In this position, there will be opportunities for training and career development.
Building Management System Development:
- Assist with new BMS design and programming
- Deploy and test BMS software on-site
- Set up servers, networks, and graphics
- Troubleshoot live systems and network configurations
- Support ongoing maintenance in live data centres
Commissioning & PPM:
- Lead commissioning for the company data centres
- Manage subcontractors and documentation
- Ensure all systems meet spec and perform to standard
- Diagnose and solve issues with Trend and Tridium systems
- Address system and network problems on live sites
