Project Manager β Extra Low Voltage Systems (ELVS)
Location: East London Sector: Mission-Critical Data Centre Employment: Permanent (PAYE) or Fixed-Term Contract (Self-Employed) Start Date: Immediate or subject to notice period
The Role
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major ELVS package on a high-profile data centre project.
You will take ownership of Building Management Systems (BMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Communications & Network Systems (CNS), managing the project from pre-construction through installation, commissioning and handover.
Working alongside planners, quantity surveyors, subcontractors and site teams, you'll ensure safe, high-quality delivery on programme and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate project teams, subcontractors and site operations.
- Manage programme, resources and project milestones.
- Work with the Quantity Surveyor to oversee budgets, variations and cost control.
- Monitor project risks, quality and health & safety compliance.
- Coordinate commissioning, testing, client training and final handover.
- Maintain strong communication with clients and project stakeholders.
About You
Essential
- Proven experience delivering large-scale ELVS or MEP projects, ideally within data centres.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercial and contractual awareness.
- Experience with project planning software such as MS Project or Asta Powerproject.
Desirable
- Experience with intelligent buildings or integrated smart systems.
- Knowledge of BIM, digital twin platforms, BREEAM or NABERS.
