BMS Project Manager – £90,000 – London An amazing opportunity for a Senior BMS Project Manager with multidiscipline strengths in Security, BMS, IT, AV, MSI, Smart Buildings etc to join a dynamic team with a well establised Building controls company for some work on the Major projects division. The BMS Project Manager position In this position, you will be managing the full ELVS package (BMS, ICT, Smart buildings, MSI, AV, Security etc). Key responsibilities Oversee the delivery of all client engagements assigned to the BEMS Engineering Projects team Monitor client deliverables on a day-to-day basis, ensuring all timelines are achieved Serve as client facing main point of contact where senior delivery expertise is required, presenting to internal and external stakeholders as required Ensure project delivery processes – including Programme, Financial control and Labour – are utilised and managed to deliver in line with business expectations. Oversee controls around scope creep and risks management. Ensure that engagement margins, staff utilisation and recovered rates are monitored effectively and optimised where possible. This will be information that will need to be made available to the Head of projects on at least a monthly basis. Coordinate with other delivery units and other BEMS Engineering teams to ensure that projects are delivered successfully. Utilise and feedback on Project Management processes and systems, collaborating with stakeholders to resolve issues and embed necessary improvements. Collaborative and cohesive working with the technical application team to ensure innovations are adopted and utilised for the efficient delivery of projects. Initiate and cultivate influential relationships with external stakeholders at management level. Convert company and local strategies into achievable operational plans. Be inspirational in delivering and messaging the company’s mission and vision. Convey real passion and belief in the business and support the drive to a net zero world. Support the business and your peers in the provision of Health, Safety and Wellbeing in the workplace. What we are looking for: Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and knowledge of other ELVS disciplines Experience in managing subcontractors Extensive experience project management experience Commercial awareness Clear understanding of construction processes Data Centre experience is preferred but not essential Previous experience in a similar role Excellent Customer service skills Strong organisational and communication skills Salary and benefits Competitive salary of £90,000 depending on experience Car allowance Private health insurance Company pension scheme 25 days holiday entitlement Person Profile You will have a strong work ethic and passion for your job.
