You will be responsible for the commissioning and optimisation of Building Management Systems from site installation through to final handover, ensuring systems perform in line with design intent and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Commission BMS systems using Trend, Tridium (Niagara), or ALC platforms
- Carry out point-to-point testing, strategy testing, graphics checks, and system validation
- Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and network issues
- Work closely with Project Managers, Controls Engineers, and site teams
- Attend site meetings and liaise with main contractors and consultants
- Produce commissioning documentation and support client handover and training
- Assist with snagging, fine-tuning, and post-handover support
Requirements
- Proven experience as a BMS Commissioning Engineer
- Strong knowledge of Trend, Tridium (Niagara), or ALC systems
- Solid understanding of HVAC plant and control strategies
- Experience working on commercial buildings
- Able to work independently and manage commissioning activities on site
- Good communication and client-facing skills
Desirable
- Manufacturer certifications (Trend / Tridium / ALC)
- CSCS card
- Electrical or Building Services qualification
