BMS Commissioning Engineer – London – £75,000 An excellent opportunity for a BMS Commissioning Engineer to work for a market leading Building Management Systems (BMS) company. They are expanding and are looking to grow their dynamic team. The BMS Commissioning Engineer position In this role, you will carry out the commissioning of BMS systems with an element of some software and graphics. Main responsibilities Carrying out commissioning of BMS systems. The production of detailed reports including commissioning reports, test results and as fitted drawings. The integration of 3rd party systems into the BMS using ModBus, Mbus or BACnet enabled devices. Keeping the project manager, service co-ordinator or director up to date on their movements and location. Keeping the project manager up to date on their progress and the status of the commissioning. Passing information and instruction onto other engineers to maintain a site presence. Returning all documentation, test results and final paperwork to the office /PM. The interaction and communication with customers, clients and other members of staff. The instruction and supervision of additional trades or company personnel. The production or back engineering of software strategy The installation, modification and demonstration of supervisor graphics. Advising the customer on potential benefits and savings from adapting the system. Quoting for the replacement of faulty parts or items. Carrying out energy audits. Provide controls & energy solutions and ideas. Assisting in the development of controls solutions and applications Assist in the training of junior engineers and other relevant staff Salary and Benefits Salary circa £75,000 depending on experience Company car / car allowance Laptop and mobile phone Overnight expenses paid Company pension 25 days holiday plus 8 days statutory Attendance bonus 37.5-hour work week Requirements Previous experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) is essential Tridium knowldege and experience is essential but open to other similar BMS system knowledge Can produce precise reports Good fault-finding skills Can read schematic drawings Can identify applications Can highlight potential cost saving measures Can carry out surveys on existing systems Full UK Driving licence Person profile You will be punctual, trustworthy, have a logical approach and are able to work alone unsupervised.
