With a strong buy-and-build strategy, we are a mix of traditional hosting businesses that offer services from domain names, email, shared hosting, e-commerce and server hosting solutions and, as specialist SaaS providers, adjacent products such as compliance, marketing tools, and team collaboration products.

Role Overview

The Martech Operation Specialist will support the Marketing Centre of Excellence with hands‑on technical marketing operations across HubSpot, Google Tag Manager, GA4, tracking, workflows, QA, and platform configuration. The role focuses on investigating issues, identifying root causes, proposing practical fixes, and helping standardise scalable ways of working across multiple brands. We are looking for someone analytical, structured, technically curious, and pragmatic. This person does not need to be a senior MarTech architect, but should be comfortable investigating problems, testing hypotheses, documenting findings, and escalating clearly when developer, data, vendor, or senior MarTech input is needed.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues across HubSpot, GTM, GA4, Google Ads, consent tools, and reporting platforms.
  • Build, maintain, and QA tags, triggers, variables, events, conversions, workflows, properties, and lifecycle‑stage logic.
  • Analyse discrepancies between tools, identify likely root causes, and recommend practical next steps.
  • Support HubSpot configuration, CRM hygiene, workflow logic, deduplication rules, lead routing, and naming conventions.
  • Validate tracking quality, consent behaviour, gclid capture, conversion imports, and campaign setup integrity.
  • Support pilots and adoption of new tools like CDP, CRM, or other platforms introduced across brands.
  • Create clear Jira tickets, QA checklists, implementation notes, and handover documentation.
  • Work with brand teams, developers, vendors, and data teams to move technical marketing initiatives forward.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands‑on experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub and/or CRM configuration, workflows, properties, and data quality.
  • Good working knowledge of Google Tag Manager and GA4, including event setup, conversion tracking, QA, and debugging.
  • Comfortable using tools such as Tag Assistant, Preview Mode, Chrome DevTools, and basic testing documentation.
  • Strong analytical mindset: able to move from symptom to root cause, not only execute isolated tasks.
  • Clear communication style with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Organised and reliable in Jira updates or similar project/task management tools, documentation, QA evidence, and follow‑up.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Google Ads conversion tracking, consent management, server‑side tagging, BI tools, Amplitude, SaaS companies or multi‑brand environments.
  • Basic understanding of data flows between marketing platforms, CRM, websites, and reporting tools.
  • Basic understanding of APIs, webhooks, data layers, JavaScript snippets, or server‑side tagging concepts.
  • Experience supporting MarTech pilots, migrations, or platform rollouts.
  • Familiarity with data governance, naming conventions, and CRM data quality standards.

Success Looks Like

  • Technical marketing issues are investigated properly before being escalated.
  • Tracking, workflows, and CRM configurations are delivered with fewer errors and cleaner documentation.
  • Brands receive practical support without creating unnecessary operational dependency.
  • The CoE has more capacity to deliver HubSpot, GTM, GA4, and MarTech operations work at scale.

Positioning

This is a hands‑on technical marketing operations role with growth potential. It is not expected to own MarTech strategy or architecture, but it should bring strong problem‑solving, QA discipline, and reliable execution across operational MarTech projects.

Right to work

At any stage, please be prepared to provide proof of eligibility to work in the country you're applying for. Unfortunately, we are unable to support relocation packages or sponsorship visas.
