You will be part of the Data & Analytics function, working closely with the Business functions to perform high-impact, advanced analyses and create high-quality, transparent, effective reports that best support decision making. You will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights that inform business strategies, improve customer processes, and drive overall performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a passion for uncovering trends and patterns within complex datasets. You will interact directly with several stakeholders (business functions, product owners, top management, etc.), in addition to the data engineering part of the team.

You are self-driven, ambitious, collaborative, and able to effectively and independently translate new ideas into concrete measures. You can communicate with all levels of the organization and translate the technical language into business-friendly language when translating business requests into technical solutions. The role requires delivering according to time constraints and handling multiple projects simultaneously. The right candidate has a proven track record from similar positions.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large volumes of data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Translate data insights into meaningful and actionable recommendations for stakeholders across departments, understanding business objectives and requirements.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate findings to key decision-makers.
- Own and lead the restructuring of Tableau data sources, redesigning them to be modular, reusable, and scalable across teams and use cases.
- Drive performance and reliability improvements in Tableau by optimizing data models, extracts, refresh strategies, and upstream queries.
- Define and enforce best practices for data source governance (naming, certification, documentation, lineage) to enable self-service analytics.
- Partner with data engineering and business stakeholders to align data source design with evolving analytical and reporting needs.
- Act as the technical authority for Tableau data architecture, proactively identifying bottlenecks and proposing long-term improvements.
Education and work experience
Advanced degree in STEM subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, etc), Economics, or relevant work experience. At least 5 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, ideally in a related industry. Demonstrable track record in developing data intelligence solutions that are stable and high performing; provide business value; and use resources efficiently.
Technical skills required
- Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field, with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets.
- Proficiency in analytical frameworks (Excel, R, Python).
- Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau (preferred), with experience in designing and delivering cross-functional, custom analytical solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
