This broad product offering makes it a one-stop partner for online businesses and entrepreneurs across Europe.

We are looking for a high-impact Chief of Staff to join our SaaS Portfolio Team. You will act as the "right hand" to the Head of SaaS, driving the operating cadence of the organization, leading critical strategic initiatives, and ensuring vision translates into execution. You will hold a dual mandate: 75% of your focus on the broader SaaS organization strategy, and 25% supporting our E-commerce Portfolio Director in overseeing our investment in the Turkish E-commerce Platform and exploring opportunities in the Turkish market. You will be the cultural and commercial bridge between our European HQ / E-commerce Portfolio Director and the Turkish market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect the "Office of the Head of SaaS"
  • Drive the Operating Rhythm: Own the agenda and follow-through Monthly Business Reviews and strategy offsites. Ensure discussions lead to decisions, and decisions lead to action.
  • Strategic Alignment: Act as a proxy for the Head of SaaS in critical meetings, ensuring cross-functional alignment between Product, Commercial, and M&A.
  • Communication Architecture: Draft high-stakes communications for the Board, investors, and internal teams, ensuring the strategic narrative is clear and compelling.
  • Turkish Market Proxy and Oversight (25%)
  • Bridge the Gap: Partner closely with the E-commerce Portfolio Director to supervise the performance of the e-commerce platform and portfolio company. Translate local market nuance into actionable insights for the central portfolio team.
  • Cultural Translator: Facilitate seamless integration and communication between Turkish founders and team.blue leadership, ensuring support without stifling local momentum.
  • Investment Support & Market Understanding: Support commercial due diligence on potential new Turkish acquisitions. Use native language skills and market context to pressure-test business cases and validate new investment opportunities.
  • Lead High-Priority Special Projects
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead complex, time-sensitive projects that don’t fit neatly into a specific department (e.g., new market entry analysis or post-merger integration challenges).
  • Performance Optimization: Analyse data across the SaaS portfolio to identify "value creation levers" and proactively flag risks to the SLT before they become issues.
  • Activate the Network Connector: Unlock the right experts from in-house teams (marketing, tech, ops) to solve bottleneck problems for portfolio companies.
  • Trusted Advisor: Serve as a sounding board for the Head of SaaS and other leadership members, offering an unbiased, first-principles perspective on organizational health and priorities.

Profile

  • Native Turkish Speaker: You must be able to navigate complex commercial negotiations and cultural nuances in Turkey fluently.
  • Experience: 5-7+ years in Management Consulting, Venture Capital, or a high-growth SaaS/Tech scale-up. Experience as a Founder or early employee is a plus.
  • Financial & Data Fluency: Comfortable dissecting a P&L, modelling growth scenarios, and using data to challenge assumptions.
  • Technology / SaaS acumen: Understanding of digital business models and a passion for new technologies.
  • Bias for Action: Comfortable operating in high-velocity environments where ambiguity is the norm. You don’t wait for permission; you fix problems.
  • High EQ: Ability to influence without authority, managing stakeholders ranging from technical founders to private equity board members.

Why this role?

  • Seat at the Table: You will sit in the room where the biggest decisions in European SaaS are made.
  • Hybrid Exposure: Broad strategic view of a Chief of Staff combined with deep, hands-on investor/operator experience with the Turkish portfolio.
  • Career Launchpad: Designed to accelerate your career towards General Manager, Country Manager, or Portfolio Director within the team.blue ecosystem.
