Are you a technically skilled project manager with a passion for innovation? Do you want to play a key role in a dynamic web hosting company operating across diverse European markets? We are looking for an IT Technical Project Manager to take on exciting challenges, including consolidating our platforms and technologies, rolling out new products, and delivering innovative solutions across teams, brands, and countries. As an IT Technical Project Manager, you’ll be the glue that holds our teams together in a fast‑paced and ever‑changing environment. You’ll play a crucial role in uniting different technologies, teams, and brands, ensuring that action items are followed up, the scope is clear, deadlines are met, and you’ll report seamlessly to the SH & WP Product Unit Director.
You will be working on:
- Consolidating platforms and technologies: Leading the integration of diverse hosting platforms, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams with different technical expertise.
- Rolling out new products and features: Coordinating the development and implementation of innovative web hosting products from concept to launch.
- Promoting diversity and collaboration: You’ll work across multiple cultures and countries, ensuring alignment and mutual understanding.
- Facilitating discussions and resolving conflicts: You have a talent for navigating challenging conversations and defusing tensions to keep everyone focused on shared goals.
Responsibilities
- Project Management: Monitor the planning, scope, and deadlines of complex technical projects.
- Coordination and Communication: Serve as the central point of contact for technical teams, stakeholders, and management.
- Action Items and Progress Tracking: Ensure tasks are followed through, and projects remain on schedule.
- Reporting: Provide detailed and insightful reporting to the Product Unit Director, leveraging tools like Jira and Confluence to create structured reporting templates and dashboards.
- Fostering Innovation: Thrive in an environment where new ideas are welcomed and innovation is encouraged.
Profile / Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a technical project manager (a previous background in IT, Linux systems, PHP development, or similar technologies is a plus).
- You understand complex infrastructures and preferably have experience in the hosting sector.
- You have excellent communication skills, can engage with diverse stakeholders, and know how to adapt your message to your audience.
- You have a very good knowledge of the English language (spoken and written).
- You can defuse tensions in a meeting by navigating tough conversations, and you can guide the teams towards alignment and collaboration.
- You have a proven track record in managing technical projects and excel at planning and prioritization.
- You are experienced in using Jira and Confluence for task tracking, collaboration, and creating templates for detailed project reporting.
- Analytical mindset and you thrive on solving problems and keeping projects on track.
- Ability to work under pressure.
