Job Overview
We are seeking a General Operative to join our team based at Blackwater. You will be responsible for ensuring items are loaded and unloaded correctly and to an efficient and high.
Main Tasks & Responsisiblities
- Load, Unload components according to strict guidelines, designs, technical drawings and instructions.
- Help to gather & organise the correct parts requested/required by different sections.
- Meet the expected standards of accuracy, efficiency, quality and output as set by the Company
- Complete daily inspection/check sheets
- Determine appropriate tools or method based on requirements and use them according to strict safety standards
- Perform daily operational checks on machinery and tools; identify and report any defects
- Maintain tools, equipment and hanging hooks in a condition that does not compromise safety
- Regularly check quality of parts to ensure they meet the required standards set.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Operation of all associated machinery and tools to move raw material and large components
Skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
