Due to a relocation, we have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Administrator and Transport Planning Co-Ordinator, responsible for UK shipments, to join our busy sales office team on the outskirts of Truro.

As part of our experienced sales office team, this is a key role within our sales operation and will involve handling and processing machine and parts orders shipments to our UK dealer network. Close and proactive liaison with our Sales Teams, Accounts, and Manufacturing departments as well as our External Transport Partner is essential to the smooth operation of the company, as is keeping the customer informed, by email or phone, at all stages of the process.

Although administration based, this role is diverse and will include elements of order processing as well as machine shipping logistics, parts support, customer enquiry handling and general administration duties.

The role will ideally suit an individual with experience of order processing and arranging goods transport within the UK and who is used to working in a busy office environment, preferably with an understanding of the agricultural machinery industry.

The successful candidate must have competent business administration skills, the ability to work independently or as a member of a team and be used to dealing with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Full computer literacy is essential as is familiarisation with the Microsoft office suite of programmes. Experience of using Epicor Kinetic (or similar manufacturing ERP system) is highly preferential as is an understanding and/or experience of load planning and logistics.
