We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our team as the Senior Director of Procurement to drive impactful operations across our global footprint. Reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer, you will operate at the center of key financial and operational decisions, serving as a trusted partner across the business to drive procurement excellence.
You will manage all indirect procurement for Commercial and Corporate functions, as well as Business Technology (including MIS and IT) and Data & Insights (DICE). As the Senior Director of Procurement, you will be responsible for managing the procurement organization, optimizing costs, enhancing operational efficiencies, and leading a lean, high‑performing team that spans across key global regions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Corporate Procurement organization, managing procurement strategies for Commercial, Corporate, and Business Technology (IT/MIS) procurement, as well as Data & Insights (DICE) and Global Real Estate.
- Lead and refine procurement policies, processes, and systems that ensure global consistency, mitigate risk, and optimize spend across multiple functions.
- Manage and execute the Global Real Estate strategy in partnership with the Corporate Services team.
- Align and collaborate with the Cloud Economics team to ensure procurement strategies are optimized to drive cost visibility and synergy in cloud‑related costs and other organizational budgets.
- Oversee the strategic direction and optimization of P2P and CLM systems (including platforms such as Coupa, Basware, Ironclad), ensuring efficient procurement processes across the global organization.
- Work cross‑functionally with Legal, Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and AP teams to streamline procurement processes, resolve system inefficiencies, and troubleshoot complex contracting issues.
- Ensure full utilization of procurement systems to improve compliance, reduce inefficiencies, and drive business outcomes.
- Lead global supplier management, managing negotiations, and ensuring cost optimization across various categories such as SaaS agreements, HR, professional services, marketing, and travel.
- Review and redline complex contracts for financial and commercial risks, ensuring compliance with all legal, privacy, and security standards.
- Identify vendor consolidation opportunities and negotiate favorable terms with key suppliers to maximise value and reduce spend.
- Drive cost‑saving initiatives across categories and lead cross‑functional teams to optimise procurement practices.
- Lead and mentor a global procurement team (5 people) helping to develop talent, build capability, and drive impactful procurement initiatives.
- Foster a high‑performance culture across the team, promoting continuous improvement and driving alignment with the company’s goals.
- Build strong, cross‑functional relationships with the Cloud Economics team, ensuring your corporate procurement strategies harmonise with their management of cloud financial operations and COGS‑related budgets.
- 10+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a global environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Deep expertise in managing complex procurement functions, specifically within Business Technology, IT/MIS, and Corporate functions.
- Strong background in procurement systems (Coupa, Basware, Ironclad) and Financial ERPs (NetSuite, MS Dynamics).
- Proven track record in developing global procurement policies, managing real‑estate strategies, and executing large‑scale SaaS/corporate negotiations.
- Professional certifications in procurement (e.g., CIPS, MCIPS).
- Experience working within a public company and/or global company.
- Ability to link procurement strategies to broader financial and business goals.
- Proven leadership in a global procurement organization, managing complex supplier relationships and optimising costs across multiple categories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and negotiate effectively with senior leadership, cross‑functional peers, and external vendors.
- Ability to navigate and lead in a fast‑moving, dynamic environment, ensuring procurement processes support broader organisational goals.
