THE ROLE

In this KS2 Teacher position you will be offered a class in Year 4, 5 or 6 that is based on your experience and personal preferences. You will be joining a diverse team of experienced teachers, each bringing solid years of expertise, where you can adapt and learn. The role is part of a team overseen by the school's exceptional and inspirational Headteacher who has been with the school for over four years.

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

The school ideally seeks an experienced KS2 teacher who has worked with SEN pupils and can develop ways to encourage positive learning for all students, regardless of their learning ability. Candidates should be able to teach creatively, ensure every student feels included and engaged, maintain solid organisational and communication skills, and use a positive approach. They should set high standards for their students while balancing enjoyment with hard work. Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is essential; all staff are expected to share this commitment. The selected candidate will have safeguarding responsibilities, be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service and employment will be subject to references. This post is not exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
