TeachMatch is recruiting for dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Assistants to work in secondary schools across Sheffield. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students with a range of behavioural and emotional needs, implementing strategies to help improve their behaviour and create a positive learning environment. This role involves working alongside teachers, pastoral teams, and other professionals to ensure that all students have the support they need to succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students with behavioural challenges by implementing effective behaviour management strategies.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of individual behaviour plans for students.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, encouraging positive behaviour and social interactions.
- Track and report on students' progress and provide regular updates to school staff and parents.
- Support in class learning.
Intervention and Mentoring
- Work with students who may be at risk of exclusion, offering targeted interventions and mentoring to improve engagement.
- Deliver small group sessions or structured activities aimed at improving social skills and emotional resilience.
Promote Positive Behaviour
