We're currently recruiting for a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant / Practitioner to join a supportive school setting in Lydney from June through to the end of the Summer term. This is a part-time role, ideal for someone passionate about supporting younger children in a nurturing environment. You'll be working with pupils who may have additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH.
Responsibilities:- Supporting children 1:1 or in small groups
- Assisting the class teacher with day-to-day activities
- Creating a positive, inclusive Early Years learning environment
- Supporting social, emotional, and developmental needs
- Managing behaviour in a calm and supportive manner
- A recognised Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 or equivalent, in line with DfE guidelines)
- Experience in an Early Years or school setting
- A nurturing, patient, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
- Competitive daily rate of £95
