Job Description:
We are working in partnership with a mixed secondary school and sixth form in Hereford to recruit an experienced Exams Manager for an immediate start. This is a full‑time temporary role in the first instance, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and maintaining the school's exams administration systems
- Coordinating internal and external examinations in line with JCQ regulations
- Preparing exam timetables, seating plans, and documentation
- Analysing, tracking, and producing exam‑related reports
- Administering and organising all aspects of exam and assessment data
- Liaising with exam boards, senior leaders, staff, and invigilators
Requirements:
- 2-3 years' recent experience as an Exams Manager in a UK secondary school
- Strong knowledge of exams administration and compliance
- BROMCOM experience is essential
- Highly organised, detail‑focused, and calm under pressure
- Confident managing multiple deadlines during busy exam periods
