We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Primary and Secondary age ranges in a school setting in North London. This role is ideal for someone experienced, patient, and committed to supporting pupils with a wide range of additional needs.
The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff and SEN teams to support pupils across the full spectrum of needs, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and complex needs. The role will involve 1:1 and small-group support, as well as assisting pupils with personal care, ensuring their wellbeing, dignity, and safety at all times.
Key requirements:
- Proven experience supporting children or young people across the SEN spectrum
- Willingness and confidence to support with personal care
- Experience working with both Primary and/or Secondary-aged students
- A calm, caring, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Ability to provide suitable references
