We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in East London, supporting both daily supply and long-term assignments. This role is ideal for adaptable and confident individuals who are happy to cover a variety of subjects and maintain continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher. You will be responsible for supervising classes, delivering pre-set work, and ensuring a positive and focused learning environment.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be confident covering multiple subjects across KS3 and KS4
- Have experience working with secondary-aged students (desirable)
- Be flexible and reliable for daily supply and long-term roles
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Communicate clearly and professionally with pupils and staff
- Hold a valid DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
- Be able to provide suitable references
