Over the past 20 years, Teachitright has helped thousands of students in Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Surrey and London build confidence and master essential exam techniques to achieve outstanding results. Teachitright is known for its engaging, fun, and focused learning environment supported by passionate tutors and staff.
This part-time, on-site role as an 11+ Tutor is based at our Maidenhead Tuition Centre. The tutor will be responsible for delivering high-quality weekly tuition classes to Year 4 and 5 pupils preparing for the GL Assessment 11 Plus test and Reading School FSCE test. You will also have opportunities to lead homework clubs, book clubs, masterclasses and revision camps, and to administer mock exams.
If you are a qualified teacher, with a motivational teaching style and the ability to communicate effectively with both students and their parents, as well as the ability to work independently, we would love to hear from you. Our tutors play a key role in fostering confidence and ensuring students are well-prepared and motivated.
Requirements- Qualified teacher, with demonstrable experience teaching or tutoring children, ideally in Year 4 or 5.
- Ability to teach verbal and non-verbal reasoning skills, as well as English and maths (previous experience of teaching 11+ skills is desirable but not essential as we will provide full training).
- Committed, organised and reliable, with excellent communication skills.
- A motivating, engaging and inspiring teaching style.
