This is an extremely exciting time to be joining Leeds City Academy, one of the most rapidly improving schools within the Leeds area and county of West Yorkshire. We are an 11-16 academy and one of four schools within White Rose Academies Trust, a trust recognised nationally for its ground-breaking and transformational impact on the lives of the young people it serves. Role
We are seeking a committed and passionate Year Manager to support the Academy’s Strategic Plan objective of Raising standards of achievement. Working under the direction of the Year Manager Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of pastoral care, personal development and safeguarding for students across the Academy.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for addressing attendance concerns, identifying and supporting students in need, and working closely with colleagues, parents and external agencies to ensure that no child is left behind. You will be instrumental in managing behaviour and disciplinary matters, applying the Leeds City Academy way consistently and fairly.
