Overall Purpose of the Role: As a senior member of the School’s support staff team, the Business Manager will have operational responsibility for a broad portfolio of non‑teaching functions, including finance operations, human resources, estates and facilities, health and safety, procurement, data protection and key external contracts. Working closely with the Principal/CEO, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the executive leaders of the school, the Business Manager will ensure that the School’s business operations are efficient, compliant and aligned with the Trust’s strategic priorities, enabling leaders and teachers to focus on the quality of education and pupil outcomes. The Business Manager will line‑manage a portfolio of the School’s allocated support teams and will act as the School’s lead for data protection and compliance.
