Main Purpose of the Role: To supervise classes during short-term teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task and follow the work set by teaching staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes in the absence of teachers.
- Ensure students complete the work provided and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Support students with questions about the work set.
- Report back to teachers on student progress and behaviour.
- Uphold the school’s safeguarding and child protection policies at all times.
