Queen Mary’s Grammar School, Walsall, invites applications for a Head of Music to strategically lead the music department, oversee curriculum provision, peripatetic and extra-curricular activities, and inspire staff and students. The successful candidate will be an exceptional music practitioner with a proven record of academic impact and curriculum leadership.
Responsibilities
- Strategically manage the music department, including curriculum design, teaching and learning.
- Lead the provision of peripatetic and extra-curricular music opportunities.
- Inspire staff and students and drive curriculum impact.
- Teach a second subject where possible (advantage for full-time).
Qualifications
- Outstanding experience as a music practitioner with a track record of academic success.
