North Bradley CE Primary School is seeking to appoint a committed and passionate Teaching Assistant (Named Pupil). As a member of staff within our Trust, you will contribute to a collaborative working environment and play a key role in supporting the learning and development of all pupils.

Responsibilities

  • Providing dedicated support to a named pupil in the classroom.
  • Working closely with the class teacher and Inclusion Lead to deliver tailored support in line with the pupil’s individual provision plan.
  • Helping the pupil to access learning and make progress across the curriculum.
  • Adapting and explaining lesson activities, reinforcing learning, and supporting the pupil in maintaining focus, developing independence, and managing behaviour positively.
  • Building a strong, supportive relationship with the pupil, promoting inclusion, confidence, and emotional wellbeing throughout the school day.
  • Supporting personal care, medical and physical needs, or therapy programmes as directed by professionals.
  • Monitoring and providing feedback on progress.
  • Contributing to a safe and nurturing learning environment.
  • Supporting the pupil both in class and during unstructured times.
