Position Level 1 teaching assistant, Nursery team, Green End Primary School
Responsibilities:
- Supporting children individually and in small groups inside and outside, supporting learning, social and pastoral development.
- Building relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
Qualifications:
- Strong communicator, nurturing, patient and positive individual.
- Experience working with young children.
- Strong literacy skills; successful completion of literacy tests is part of the interview process.
- Commitment to raising aspiration and attainment in an urban setting.
Compensation and Hours:
- Level 1, Grade 2 £26,016 pro rata, term time only equates to approximately £21,737 per annum.
- Contract: temporary, one year or until staff member returns from maternity leave, whichever is sooner.
- Hours: Start 8:30am. 2 days a week finish 3:30pm. 2 days a week finish 4:00pm. 1 day a week (Tuesday) finish 4:45pm to attend staff meetings. Daily unpaid lunch break 40 minutes.
