Essential
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England, or on track to achieve QTS.
- A strong subject knowledge in Mathematics, with the ability to teach across the age and ability range.
- An enthusiasm for teaching Mathematics and inspiring pupils to develop confidence, resilience and a love of learning.
- Understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies, including assessment for learning.
- Ability to plan well‑structured lessons that meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and disadvantaged pupils.
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to establish a positive learning environment.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
