Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in supporting students with SEND by coordinating meetings, paperwork, records and parent/carer communication.
  • Support the administration of attendance processes, including records, first response calls and relevant documentation.
  • Support Student Reception, including student queries, timetable checks, illness procedures, parent/carer contact and confiscated items.
  • Lead on first aid and medication administration records, including logging, tracking, stock checks and routine parent/carer communication.
  • Proofread and check Individual Education Plans, student profiles and SEND documentation before circulation to staff.
  • Provide high-quality administrative support, including accurate minute-taking, diary management, filing, data input and routine correspondence.
  • Liaise professionally with families, staff and external professionals, acting as a trusted and appropriate point of contact.
  • Help maintain effective SEND, attendance and student support systems, with training and development provided where required.
