We are looking for an Admin Assistant to join our team at Pear Tree High School. This permanent post is full-time, 35 hours per week during term time plus 5 INSET days, with a starting salary of £22,004 (equivalent to £25,583 Grade 3).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and financial support to the school.
  • Assist the Senior Leadership Team with administrative tasks.
  • Support the organisation, documentation and minute-taking of Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) meetings.
  • Contribute to the efficient running of the school office.
  • Work collaboratively with staff and parents to support pupils and the wider school community.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience of general clerical, administrative and financial work.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload.
  • Confidence using ICT systems, including Word, Excel and databases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when handling data and financial information.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and a proactive approach to work.
  • A commitment to safeguarding, equality and supporting pupil wellbeing.
