We are looking for an Admin Assistant to join our team at Pear Tree High School. This permanent post is full-time, 35 hours per week during term time plus 5 INSET days, with a starting salary of £22,004 (equivalent to £25,583 Grade 3).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and financial support to the school.
- Assist the Senior Leadership Team with administrative tasks.
- Support the organisation, documentation and minute-taking of Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) meetings.
- Contribute to the efficient running of the school office.
- Work collaboratively with staff and parents to support pupils and the wider school community.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience of general clerical, administrative and financial work.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload.
- Confidence using ICT systems, including Word, Excel and databases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when handling data and financial information.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and a proactive approach to work.
