About the Role

  • Location: Netherthorpe School, Staveley, Chesterfield
  • Pay Scale: NJC Grade 1 point 3 (currently £24,796 gross per annum pro-rata)
  • Contract: Permanent, part-time (10 hours per week, 39 weeks per year)
  • Start date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the allocated areas
  • Perform cleaning tasks including washing, sweeping, scrubbing, sanitising, shampooing, vacuum cleaning, polishing and dusting of designated areas as required

Qualifications

  • Previous cleaning experience
  • Good attention to detail
  • Conscientious attitude and pride in work

Requirements

  • Successful completion of an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare, safety and protection of children, young people and vulnerable adults, in line with the Trust’s safeguarding policy
