HR Officer role within Weston Secondary School, part of the Hamwic Education Trust (HET). An exciting opportunity to join an experienced business admin team and provide professional, efficient HR administration and advisory services to the school and leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day generalist HR support and coordinate administration of HR activities including recruitment, absence management, professional development, employee relations and leavers.
- Work proactively with the school leadership team in conjunction with HET’s HR team to support and implement strategies to select, develop, and retain the best staff.
- Support the school in implementing safeguarding and welfare commitments as part of the Hamwic Education Trust.

Qualifications

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Officer to join our experienced business admin team at Weston Secondary School, part of Hamwic Education Trust (HET). HET is a large, fast-paced Trust with currently 37 academies across the South Coast, linked to 6 community-based partnerships (34 primary academies, 2 secondary, and 1 hospital school). The school’s vision is to cultivate a diverse student community with high aspirations and personal development, providing an enriching curriculum and exceptional teaching to empower students. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to provide a professional, efficient HR administrative service to the school. To be successful, the HR Officer should have relevant experience and be CIPD Level 3 qualified and/or working towards CIPD Level 5. Experience in a school or education environment is advantageous but not essential; training will be given.
