The Blue School is seeking a positive individual with the appropriate level of knowledge and/or experience, to be able to evidence strong project management and organisational skills to be our Facilities and Operations Manager. The Blue School is blessed with a beautiful 35-acre campus where around 1500 staff and students attend every weekday during term-time.

The role of the Facilities and Operations Manager will be to manage the campus, its buildings and grounds, including adherence to the relevant health and safety statutory regulations, providing long-term leadership for our estates management. The Facilities and Operations Manager will manage a proactive in-house staff team and oversee the conduct of external contractors' personnel, to fulfil the maintenance and operational needs of the estate.

The postholder will work to maintain a high maintenance standard for the campus, including good housekeeping throughout and delivery of a high-quality operational service in a safe and secure environment. The successful candidate will be able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks ensuring high-quality results within competing deadlines. This will include supporting the leadership of estates development projects.

Good communication skills are essential, with an ability to interact positively and in an accessible manner with a wide range of individuals with varying needs.
