We are seeking an excellent Site Services Officer to play a vital part in keeping our school safe, well‑maintained and welcoming every day. This is a hands‑on role combining practical maintenance skills, site security, and coordination with contractors and staff.
Responsibilities
- Help keep Barr’s Hill School safe, compliant and welcoming.
- Work closely with the Facilities Manager, the wider site team and external contractors.
- Carry out routine maintenance duties and ensure the site operates smoothly.
- Provide site security support and coordinate security measures.
- Receive training and support for school‑specific systems and procedures.
Qualifications
- Practical, skilled individual with hands‑on maintenance experience.
- Pride in workmanship and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
Salary & Benefits
- Grade 4: £26,243 – £29,838
- 37 hours per week / all year round (52 weeks per annum)
- Shift pattern: Week 1 6 am – 2 pm; Week 2 11 am – 7 pm (flexible weekend coverage may be required)
