We are seeking a passionate and committed practitioner to join our inclusive school in a unique and rewarding dual role. This full-time position combines a 0.6 teaching commitment within a semi-formal intervention group, with SENDCo support duties, working closely alongside the Federation SENDCo and wider inclusion team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled practitioner who is enthusiastic about supporting pupils with complex needs and is keen to develop their expertise in SEND leadership within a mainstream setting.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working in a specialist setting or with pupils with complex learning needs
  • Be confident delivering a highly adapted curriculum tailored to individual needs
  • Have a strong understanding of EHCPs, individual learning plans, and SEND processes
  • Be a reflective practitioner with a commitment to inclusive education
  • Work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with staff, families, and external agencies
  • Experience supporting communication and interaction needs
  • Knowledge or experience of Attention Autism
  • Familiarity with Colourful Semantics
