Overview

We are looking to appoint a specialist science teacher. The successful candidate will be, or if an ECT, has the ability to become, an inspirational classroom practitioner and there is a comprehensive induction programme in place to support new staff.

What the school offers its staff

The science team is very supportive with a broad range of specialisms across Biology, Chemistry and Physics. There are two full-time lab technicians and science is housed in refurbished accommodation. All teachers have their own laboratories, appropriately equipped for each specialism, with laptop and projector. Triple Sciences are offered as part of the KS4 options and all other students study the combined science GCSE course. Our science department has a reputation for being forward thinking and innovative and is a leading department in our whole school work on Rosenshine.
