Contract: Permanent

Hours: 15 or 7.5 hours per week (split shift – 8.45 – 10.15 then 1.45 – 3.15)

Weeks per year: 38 weeks per year (term time only)

Grade / Salary: NJC Grade 3 prorata £8,422 (£12.85 per hour)

Five Rivers Multi-Academy Trust are seeking to appoint dedicated minibus driver(s) who can support with transport to and from our Alternative Provisions located at Tinsley Meadows Primary Academy.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the Trust minibuses in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of the Highway Code, the City Council’s Code of Practice for minibus drivers, and training provided by the Road Safety Unit of the Council to maintain pupil, staff and public safety whilst on the highway.
  • Carry out daily visual checks and basic maintenance for the vehicles (e.g., oil levels, cleaning of vehicles).
  • Liaise with the Escort as appropriate to ensure seat belts are fastened, bags and equipment are secured, and that the safety of pupils and staff is maintained at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage.

  • Category D minibus driving license.
