Overview

Do you have specialised technical skills in Design and Technology and a commitment to ensuring students have safe, fully operational resources for their practical learning? This role is dedicated to supporting teaching and learning in the Technology Department on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate practical resources and equipment to support the teaching of Design & Technology subjects from Key Stage 3 to 5.
  • Provide technical support to the department and ensure workshops are equipped, functioning properly and ready to use.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and implement safety checks and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Specialised technical skills in Design and Technology.
  • Experience of multi-tasking, problem solving and implementing and monitoring Health and Safety checks.
  • A technical background relevant to Design & Technology.
