Responsibilities include:
- Supervising whole classes during short‑term teacher absence, implementing pre‑set work programmes.
- Managing student behaviour according to the Consequences Policy to maintain a constructive working environment.
- Assisting in preparing the environment and materials, responding to student questions about the set work, and collecting completed assignments.
- Supervising student entry/departure and accurately recording and reporting lesson attendance.
- Supporting examination logistics by assisting in exam invigilation and reporting pupil behaviour or issues using referral procedures.
