About the Role

As a KS1 Teacher at Trewirgie Infant School, you will:

  • Teach a class in Year 1 or Year 2, depending on experience and suitability.
  • Work closely with colleagues in our KS1 Team, contributing to shared planning, assessment and curriculum development.
  • Deliver high‑quality, engaging lessons that build on children’s early learning foundations and support smooth progression from EYFS into KS1.
  • Use assessment effectively to identify next steps, track progress and ensure all children make strong, sustained progress.

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SEN staff and wider colleagues to meet the needs of all learners.
