Wood End Park Academy is home to over 900 children, including a60-place nursery.It serves the children and families of the richly diverse and welcomingcommunity of Hayes in West London. Theacademy is part of The Park Federation Academy Trust, allowing us to benefitfrom a wealth of expertise across our ten academies, as well as enabling us toprovide opportunities for sharing of good practice and high-qualitytraining. This is an exciting opportunity tobecome part of our highly professional, friendly team. We are looking toappoint a full time member of staff who has a \”can do\” attitude and isflexible, practical, pro-active, energetic and diligent to support our existingteams in delivering excellent service.
Yourduties will include: ensuring statutory compliance as well as leading anassistant and cleaners in providing excellent service. The successful applicantwill have strong facilities management skills as well as people leadership. Youwill report to the Head of Estates and the Principal.
What the school offers its staff
The post is for 36 hours per week, there is flexibility on how the hoursare spread across the day with the working day potentially starting at 06.45amand ending at 6.30pm. Some out-of-hours or additional working hours may berequired and extra hours are negotiable for the right candidates. The positionwill be based at Wood End Park Academy andat times, the individual may have to work across the Trust. On occasion, youmay be required to deputise for the Head of Estates or work across the Trust.
You will need:

• To enjoy working withchildren, parents and staff
• Effective communicationand organisational skills
• To be calm,approachable, flexible and demonstrate initiative
• Experience of workingin a school or similar setting
• To be highly skilledand practical
