Role Overview

Special Educational Needs Coordinator. This exciting post will join the senior leadership team, who together will provide the strategic direction for Baden‑Powell & St. Peter’s CE Junior School.

Employment Details

  • Permanent, part‑time 0.8 / 25.94 hours per week
  • Starting: 1 September 2026
  • Pay: Main or Upper Teacher PayScale with SEN allowance

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction for the school, working with senior leadership.
  • Champion inclusion and ensure our most vulnerable learners achieve their full potential.
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of assessment strategies and be confident with data analysis in Key Stage 2.
  • Undertake teaching duties linked to the coordinator role.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Passion for inclusion and a proven record of supporting vulnerable learners.
  • Strong assessment and data‑analysis skills for Key Stage 2.
  • Experience in Leadership or teaching roles, preferably within a SEN context.
  • Willingness to undergo pre‑employment checks including health check, online searches, Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
